- Consent to Establish (CTE) or No Objection Certificate (NOC) — mandatory before starting construction activity & establish unit under the Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 1981 & its amendment
- Consent to Operate (CTO/CCA), Needs to apply after completed all machineries under Air, water & hazardous acts & its amendment.
- CTE/CCA Amendments are updates to the original environmental consents granted by GPCB due to changes in production, processes, or waste management, Add new plot etc.
- CCA Renewal is the process of extending the validity of CCA & this permission is required before expiring valid existing CCA/CTO permission
- Permanent / Temporary Revocation (GPCB) process: this revocation process is required when Closure Order received from GPCB due to non-compliance or violations of GPCB rules.
- Name Change – this permission is required when unit updating/Change/transfer the registered name of a company, industry, or unit in GPCB records due to rebranding, ownership changes, or mergers.
- Monthly Patrak(Form D)— this data (production, water consumption, fuel consumption etc.) are required to update on XGN portal on regular basis as per rules
- Environmental Statement (Form V): An annual report submitted by industries detailing water consumption, production, raw materials, and environmental protection as per GPCB rules. This form need to submit at GPCB before 30th September of every year.
- Hazardous Waste Return (Form 4):
An annual return filed by hazardous waste generators and handlers reporting the quantity, type, treatment, and disposal of hazardous waste as per the Hazardous Waste Rules. This form need to submit at GPCB before 30th June of every year. - Bio-Medical waste (BMW) Consent & its returns :
healthcare facilities needs to obtain BMW consent and after obtain consent need to submit yearly returns with detailing of type, quantity, treatment, and disposal method of bio-medical waste in compliance with BMW Rules, 2016. - Manifests (Hazardous Waste Management): manifest copy need to generate for transportation/ send of hazardous waste to another site and without manifest copy unit don’t transfer of any type of Hazardous waste.
- Environmental Clearance (EC) —EC is a mandatory regulatory approval required before the commencement of certain development projects fall under EIA notification 2006 & its time to time amendment.
- Environmental Clearance (EC) Compliance Report: once unit has obtained EC permission, after then units needs to regularly submit EC compliance every six month.
- CGWA permission (No Objection Certificate from Central Ground Water Authority) for groundwater abstraction from bore well, dug well, tube well etc.
- CGWA Renewal: this permission is need to apply before 3 month of expiring of existing CGWA NOC permission. If unit not applied CGWA renewal then as per rules Penalty will applicable to unit.
- Plastic Waste Management (PWM) / Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) registration/certificate and compliance under which producers, importers, and brand owners are made responsible for the entire lifecycle of their products, especially the collection, recycling, and environmentally sound disposal of post-consumer waste like plastics, e-waste, and packaging materials.
- EC to CTE application means that after receiving Environmental Clearance, the project must obtain Consent to Establish from GPCB before beginning operations or construction.
- Water Audit Report is a detailed assessment of an industry’s water usage, focusing on consumption, recycling, wastewater generation, and conservation measures.
It helps identify water-saving opportunities, improve efficiency, and ensure compliance with CGWA. - Environmental Clearance (EC) for Mining Projects – Categories B1 and B2
- B1 Category- > 5 Ha of individual lease area and > 5 Ha of the total cluster area.
- B2 Category- <5 Ha of individual lease area or < 5 Ha of the total cluster area
